Mr. Eric Mullins
Mr. Mullins is in his 24th year of teaching and in his twelfth year as Director of Bands at Timberview High School, where he teaches the Wind Symphony, Marching Band, and supervises all other aspects of the band program. Under his direction, the Timberview Band has consistently earned the UIL Sweepstakes Award for superior ratings in Marching, Concert and Sight Reading. The Timberview Marching Band is a consistent finalist in local marching festivals, winning multiple captions, and has advanced to the UIL Area contest each time. The Wind Symphony has been named Commended and Winner of the Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors on multiple occasions and was invited to perform at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival in 2020. Prior to his appointment at Timberview, Mr. Mullins served as Director of Bands at Western Hills High School in Fort Worth, Texas and was an assistant director at Creekview High School in Carrollton, Texas.
Mr. Mullins also has extensive experience in choral music. Currently serving as Assistant Choirmaster/Handbell Director at University Christian Church in Fort Worth, he has also held positions as choir director and handbell director in several large congregations across North Texas. He was also the Artistic Director/Conductor of the Fort Worth Choral Society for two seasons. Choirs and handbells under his direction have performed to standing-room-only audiences throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Mullins has been recognized with the Bayard H. Friedman Chair for Teaching Excellence in the Performing Arts, MISD Education Foundation Distinguished Educator, CFBISD Education Foundation “Star Teacher,” has been listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers & Educators and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Texas Music Adjudicators Association.
Mr. Daniel Neimeyer
• Music educator with 18+ years experience. Success on multiple levels including individual accolades in solo contest, Texas All-region, rudimental, as well as ensemble awards, marching percussion recognition and group instruction, all in teaching.
• Received high awards for instruction, teaching, coaching and motivation, as well as arranging, orchestrating, design and composition for multiple marching percussion shows.
• Experience in management and problem solving.
• Always interested in continuing to learn job skills, continue to innovate craft, broaden scope, create synergy between groups and grow as an employee and personally.

Miss Allie Mahmood
Miss Mahmood is a DFW native and holds her Bachelor’s of Music degree from the University of North Texas. During her time at UNT she was involved with multiple wind ensembles, flute choirs, chamber groups, colorguard, and marching band. She has been teaching since 2020 and has taught middle school in Irving ISD and high school in Arlington ISD prior to coming to Mansfield. In her free time, she is a freelance flute player and is the operations manager and social media coordinator for a non-profit performing arts organization in Dallas.
Mr. Matthew Apodaca
Mr. Apodaca started his color guard career as a “backyard betty” learning anything his older sister was willing to teach him. He attended Haltom High School in Haltom City, TX and was a marching member of the Pride of Haltom Marching Band and the Haltom High School Winterguard from 2004-2006. He aiso marched with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps in 2005 and 2006.
During his junior year, he decided to challenge himself further and expand his learning repertoire by auditioning for an the Ars Nova Winterguard. Mr. Apodaca marched with the Ars Nova Open Winterguard from 2007-2009 and with the Ars Nova World Winterguard in 2010.
He Instructed Mansfield High School In 2007-2009, the Forte Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011, the Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps in 2012, and was the Color Guard Director of North Crowley High School. He is a staff member for the Black Gold Winterguard and he will be working closely with the rifle section of Black Gold “A”.
